Strong Homemade Coffee Hair Spray; Side Effects?
Hey all!
I was thinking about making another kind of hair spray, this time with some strong Italian coffee. I could spray it on my wet hair in the shower, or just spray it all over my scalp and hair throughout the day to get some really serious saturation.
I read that caffeine can be harmful in high amounts to hair growth, but is that topically, or what?
Can anyone see any side effects? I have kind of dark brownish hair so the issue of it darkening my hair color probably won't matter.
Maybe I should do the same thing but with green tea instead? I'd rather use coffee as it's more readily available to me.
Thanks

Well I was going to simply make it from strong coffee I brew for drinking, and put it in a spray bottle, and maybe let it sit for 20 minutes before or after a shower, or whenever, nothing fancy.

I use a caffeine spray everyday, rub it in, absorbs quickly
much simpler and easier
maybe the entire coffee bean works better, i don't know
this man says there is no comparison between coffee and isolated caffeine

Yeah I was just going to use my drinking coffee, not even caffeine powder or anything like that.
