Arginine Pyroglutamate not safe? Empty Arginine Pyroglutamate not safe?

Post  jasonshadow Mon Aug 04, 2008 5:16 am

Whats the scoop on this? I read that Arginine Pyroglutamate is not safe.

Arginine Pyroglutamate

Not recommended for human use. Mechanism of action in the body is entirely speculative according to the Physician’s Desk Reference (PDR).

Also, doesn't Arginine awaken mouth sores which stems from herpes?

Arginine Pyroglutamate not safe? Empty Re: Arginine Pyroglutamate not safe?

jasonshadow - Arginine Pyroglutamate is quite safe. Also, unlike other forms of arginine, it does not compete for Lysine, hence of worries about Lysine deficit conditions.

The only concern about AP is potential elevation of Prolactin. It's a great booster for libido as it gets Nitric oxide produced significantly higher than other forms of arginine.
