Salt Loading not working for me
I get headaches when I take iodine so I am unable to take iodine until I perform salt loading.
I have tried salt loading three times now and copious amounts of urine to not happen for me.
I took it with warm water last night and after barely getting it down It still did not work. I can,t
continue to try this because it makes me gag.
I use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt and about a cup or 2 of water. I drink that and then a tall glass of water
and nothing happens.

What kind of salt do you use?
Do you take any vitamin C?

Mortons Sea Salt from Trader Joe's.
No Vitamin C. I have some power. Should I mix it into the salt water.

When I first dosed with iodine several years ago (at least in the larger doses), I had those frontal sinus headaches.
It usually occurs for 1 to 2 weeks and then disappears.
The best type of electrolyte solution to help flush out the bromides, etc is to use some more than just a plain salt solution. For example magnesium is also important.
This formula I found works very well 40K volts
It contains magnesium, sodium, chloride, potassium primarily and when added to water, the taste isn't that bad.
If any unpleasant sides still do occur, it is also advisable to use high doses of vitamin C (3,000 to 10,000 mg) just during this phase.
Hope this helps

Re: Salt Loading not working for me
I second CS, those headackes will go away. During periods of heavy iodine supplementation, i monitor my morning body temperature, to see if i stay on the safe side...
I'd pay also attention to have selenium and zinc. If you experience more tingling sensation and movement when you are going to bed, it is magnesium deficiency that needs to be dealt with.
