frequent peeing after taking msm sulfur

Is this normal? Been getting some stomach aches also. Pee comes out super clear too. F

About a teaspoon it comes with a scoop so thats my guess as to how much it is although it tastes really bad so I take a little less than that

The tiny scooper it comes with is much too small. I toss it.

Instead, would take one real teaspoon for every 100 pounds of body weight/45 kg. For me that's one teaspoon twice per day. In the case of MSM (the antidote is to take more not less). The horrible taste becomes slightly less horrible over time.

Bumping up my MSM dosage per CS's recommendation and then DRASTICALLY increasing my water intake for a while did me a lot of good.  I was drinking about 1.5 gallons of water per day and not peeing any more than normal.  But the smaller dosage gave me very uncomfortable bloat, peeing, and I gained about 6 lbs in two days.

Also, take it only with water on a completely empty stomach. Don't take with food or juice.

You get used to the taste.   It's worth it for the benefits.

Yes im definitely experiencing the bloating will up the dosage hope to god I dont throw up. I read something about someone developing kidney stones after a month or so of usage even though he experienced all the positive benefits from it, he stopped using it and kidney stones stopped developing but his other symptoms returned. Is this something I should be worried about or is it an isolated incident?

Didn't happen to me. I did quite a bit of research for anecdotes on MSM and never heard that.

Instead of causing the development of kidney stones what may have happened to that guy is all the peeing may have dislodged existing stones. But it's hard to say. I'm no expert.

No.

Sulfur actually dissolves calcium (oxalate) which some stones are made up of.

If your experiencing frequent urination, right leg pain, or taking large amounts, you might wanna listen to this.  Sulfur is one of the more powerful supplements out there.

Sulfur can be beneficial but taking to much can be harmful.  Toxic effects can happen when its taken in larger doses along side with certain other minerals or vitamins.  B-6 and taurine can increase its toxicity.  The term hydrogen sulfide poisoning was used at one point.  It mentioned that calcium, iron, manganese, copper and barium all interact with hydrogen sulfide.

I think I might take a week off of it and then make sure I don't go over half a tea spoon a day (one scoop)

Thoughts on that ^^ CS? Frequent peeing has subsided for me btw with increased dosage. I actually feel more energized and I sleep so late too.

Awesome good to hear. Often times, increasing the water or the dosage helps. This is one of the few supplements where "more is better"

One of the problems with this brand is that it comes with a tiny scooper, and many often just use that amount, which isn't quite enough.

Is the Gold Standard brand of MSM crystals a good brand to use?
