Safest blood pressure medicine

CS, what is in your opinion the safest blood pressure medicine for old people? My grandmother has high blood pressure, she is 83 years old and she is currently on calcium channel blockers but she says that she feels very bad taking them.

Calcium Channel Blockers have a nick name - Calcium Cardiac Killers.

I wrote this article a few years ago that shows that in most cases, high blood pressure should not be treated.

Of course, there is a natural alternative to calcium channel blockers...that would be magnesium. I would suggest trying the citrate form of magnesium for better assimilation. Celery seed extract is also quite helpful.
