MSM for clicking/popping joints

I made a thread a while back about persistent popping/cracking all over body. I will feel the need to stretch my arms/legs/feet/neck several times per day to relieve pressure and pop like an old man. Several other people had the same issue, but no remedies.
I started taking around 2 tsp MSM per day. Cracking has greatly been reduced. I still need to crack my joints but not nearly as much. I've tried hyaluronic acid too, but it didn't help. Maybe HA would work in megadoses but no idea how healthy that would be.
