Animal Bone Marrow / Broth || Leaky Gut Discussion
A health podcast I was listening to was talking about GAP diet Gut and Psycology diet and just some fundamentals. Sounds like one thing people agree on to heal that leaky gut / intestinal permeability is bone marrow from broths. Anyone know how to cook the bones from animals? should I just make chicken soup? and pressure cook it? or should you crack a couple bones to ensure the marrow release?
Any discussion on marrow and digestive repair would be good... They agreed that the high concentrations of collagen help repair the gut

Additionally, you might want to look into Gelatin as a supplement... I recently ordered some, will try it.

Interesting article by Dr. Peat on gelatin.
Fibrosis, free radical damage, inflammation, cell death from ATP depletion or calcium overload, mitochondrial damage, diabetes, etc., can be prevented or alleviated by glycine.
Inflammation produces fibrosis, because stress, hypoxia, and inadequate supply of glucose stimulate the fibroblasts to produce increased amounts of collagen. In lungs, kidneys, liver, and other tissues, glycine protects against fibrosis, the opposite of what the traditional view would suggest.
Reminds me of Taurine...
