What Do You Think Of This "Broth" Drink I Make?

Hey everyone

I'd like some opinions on this "broth" drink thing I make.  It's really simple:

I boil some water, then:

I cut up either a whole onion or half of a red onion, some cilantro (maybe a handful), about 3-4 garlic cloves, and a nice big piece of ginger, and dump all that in, cover the pot and let it cook on low for like 30 minutes to an hour, or whenever I feel like taking it out , strain all the solids out, add some pink Himalayan salt (around 1/4 teaspoon usually) and drink it.  It doesn't taste bad at all, but I'm wondering how good this would be for you.  

What do you people think?

Sounds really good! All that stuff is great for you. Seems it would be a good drink in winter especially.

Yeah it's probably great in winter! It actually tastes good. If I ever want to make a soup I know what I'm using for stock!

It will surely be a great alternative drink to the famous cider. I would love to try that drink recipe at home. What do you call it?

I call it BRO-th drink, pronounced bro, because it needs to be pronounced that way to be fancy.
