IH - Question about Humifulvate/Metal Cleanse
IH,
I'm going to do a metal cleanse with humifulvate. I'm just wondering if I should stop taking my normal regimen for this or do I continue with it? Is there anything I should avoid while using it?
Thanks in advance.

hadrion - It's perfectly fine, all that is needed to take it a few hours away from food or other supplements. When I took it, I often took it at night.

Re: IH - Question about Humifulvate/Metal Cleanse
I'm gonna do it as a precaution and see how I feel. With all this information I'm processing about mercury fillings, I think it's long overdue for me to try this out and see how I feel.
On a side note, I'll have some interesting info/results to post about the Pauling Protocol soon. In short, it works and cardiologist's should be ashamed of themselves for not putting their patients on this protocol.

Re: IH - Question about Humifulvate/Metal Cleanse
CS - I am trying Swanson's Metal Shield product, and while the bottle says to "discontinue use if you experience gastrointestinal discomfort" I'm not sure if its a byproduct of the cleanse or something more sinister.
I took it a few hours post food yesterday with a glass of water and I was called to the bathroom around 1:30am. No discomfort after that, just the sudden urge to poop. I wouldn't classify it as loose stools either. I feel fine this morning.
Can I take it with food to mitigate the effects, or could it be another ingredient that is messing with my system that I'll eventually acclimate to? Obviously I don't want to take it if its otherwise damaging my system, but if its expected for the first week or so, I'll deal with it.

xyion1 - This is a normal reaction. Wouldn't recommend taking it with food.

I've been taking it with food for about a week. No major issues although I'm also taking the Betaine HCL with every meal so I think that's handling any bloating/digestion issues I would have.

Thanks CS. Why on earth would they put that on the bottle then? I was about to return the 3 bottles I bought!

CS, comparing swansons metal shield
http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU420/ItemDetail?n=0
and iherbs complete metal cleanse
http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Complete-Metal-Cleanse-30-UltraCaps/4926?at=0
Swansons contains 75mg "mixture of humic, fulvic and phenolic-type acids in a humate/poloyphenolic complex" as well as other things, and is cheaper.
The complete metal cleanse contains 75mg "Proprietary Humifulvate Complex humic, fulvic, and phenolic acids"
Is there any difference? Why is the iherb version more expensive with less added bonus', or is there no health reason behind it?

tooyoung - Some have allergies to cilantro. Other than that, no major difference.

Re: IH - Question about Humifulvate/Metal Cleanse
Are the allergies common and dangerous? Is it related to coriander in any way? When I eat coriander, I find it really strong and can't catch my breath for a few seconds, would this indicate I should avoid cilantro?
