Regimen for the new year
I've been through the board and have come up with a list of supplements that look interesting. The problem is I don't want to go much over $100/month with this economy so would appreciate any advice. My primary goal is overall health and energy, but hair growth and maintenance is a huge plus. I'm currently without a regimen except for 2 drops Lugol's EOD.
The IH regimen of:
Curcumin/resveratrol
Krill oil
ALC
ALA
Biotin
K2
The more interesting supps you guys are posting about:
Brewer's yeast
Magnesium
Topicals
emu oil
papain/bromain (will prob wait longer for more info)
So for $100 or so a month, which of the above do you recommend and what are the best sources? Or if I've missed some of the more effective ones please let me know. I see iHerb and Swansons mentioned a lot, any other cheap sources of quality product? Oh yeah, also trying to go caveman diet (within reason) this year. Thanks for any help!

sdguy - The only one you might have left out is high dose vitamin D. Recently, there's a deal that will last a good two years. 360 softgels 10,000 IU of Vitamin D for under 20 bucks.

Oh yeah, forgot that one. The question is, which of that stuff should I prioritize for my budget? Any suggestions?

Re: Regimen for the new year
As far as the D3, I'm going to order the 360 5,000IU softgels but can't seem to find how much K2 I should be taking with that. IH's top lists a 1,000IU D3/45mcg K2 supplement, so does that mean I should take 200 or so mcg/day by popping a few of these?

I ordered the Algoran and will keep you guys posted. Shipping cost of $20 (includes trackign and insurance) is rough!

As long as I'm getting ready to place an order, can anyone recommend a good source for emu oil? I know it has to be processed a certain way but haven't done the research yet, any users out there?

ive been using emu essentials i got on iherb for 3 or 4 weeks now. im using it on my hairline where it has thinned out. the reviews seemed good so i got it. hopefully it will help keep my scalp in a condition for a little regrowth.

I was looking at the gold version on iHerb, I guess I'll give that one a try. Have you tried it on your face at all? I'm interested in using it as a moisturizer too but tend to be acne prone. It's supposed to be non-comedogenic, but it's always nice to hear first-hand opinions. Thanks Kaptun

Re: Regimen for the new year
im afraid to use anykind of oil on my face because i break out easy. it does help with inflammation and i think it would help to moisturize if it doesn't break u out. but i havnt tryed it on my face yet just my hairline.
