What im doing works I think....
I just found this forum and its all good stuff..
The hair loss factor is strong on my family.... I started thinning at the age 17-18.. ( now 25) and started to take action around age 20..I have the same as now as i had when i say 12... BTW my father is completely bald and i take after him in every way. people often say i look just like my dad..
I have alot of health problems, i have adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism (hashis), low testosterone..
im currently on 20mg Cortef, 35MG DHEA, 3 grains armour thyroid and have been on this stuff for a few years now.
Im thinking of adding in Testosterone and HCG..
but anyways
I think theres a good link between hair loss and low iron (Ferritin)
I have literally corrected all my deficiencies. which were Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, B12, B5, Selenium, Copper which was confirmed via Spectracell testing (spectracell.com 265$ test which i find highly valuable)
I also tested low in Iodine via Iodine Loading Test.
I literally have done every test you can think of i ruled out everything possible.
also besides that Diet is closely linked which is highly discussed on this forum,
im basically doing a primal diet but i do drink raw goat milk and basically avoid all grains.
my supplements alot
Vit C, Bcomplex, b5, sublingual b12, Vit E, D, Selenium, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iodoral
Green power (pure synergy) and a protein powder (sunwarrior brown rice protein)
all my supplements are from Pure Encapsulation which i believe to the best company in the world by far

Re: What im doing works I think....
I dont have any really up close pics of my hair when i was 17-18, most people couldn't tell by looking at me, but i could tell from really look at my hair line.
and i found out my dad started losing his hair when he was 17-18 and the time he was 25 he was basically bald..
either im doing what works, or for some other reason im not ready to lose my hair yet. i dont know for sure.

Pretty hard to imagine...
That if you are male that you were low in iron. I guess it's possible, but pretty unlikely. But if you were tested before hand and it showed you as having low iron I guess that was the case. However, for the most part males in the Western hemisphere aren't low on iron, it's usually the opposite, too much iron.

This is true,, but from what I been seeing lately most men are turning out to be running on the lower side..
but to be sure its best to test Ferritin to see where you stand.
