Eye Floaters and Visual Snow
Just curious if any of yall have or have had these issues. Its something that has caused me slow building anxiety because my vision was slowly changing and I thought I would go blind eventually until I realized there was other people with these issues and it was fairly more annoying than a health issue of the eye. Also in people that are hyper sensitive it can be more prevalent.

I have this problem too. I've been thinking about getting a laser treatment but you have to be careful since it should a very specific laser that most doctors don't have.

If it has not come from the external world, it could be pathologically driven.
I am aware of Bartonella infection can be behind floaters and even cataracts...
Sorry if this is bad news, but it can be treated easily with specific IV antibiotics, or oxidative therapies.
Vitamin C is very concentrated in ophthalmic tissue, therefore one goal could be not to go on short with this cheap preventative meanwhile providing the correct diagnosis with a good treatment plan.

Re: Eye Floaters and Visual Snow
I've had visual snow all my life. (I'm almost 46 now). I always thought everyone saw like me. About 5 years ago I realized that I had visual snow because it got worse from stress. I also began suffering from floaters due to posterior vitreous detachment. I don't notice the floaters so much anymore. My brain has pretty much gotten used to the floaters and they have become mostly invisible, unless I'm looking at something really bright. There is a group on Facebook called "Visual Snow" that I follow. Check it out. They have news and updates on things regarding it.

Re: Eye Floaters and Visual Snow
My brain has also ignored my floaters but I have one really dark strand that is growing and flies across my visions constantly and is impossible to ignore.
Follijinxed I have thought about going to get a checkup with Dr James Johnson(floater only doctor) about the one floater. He recently moved to Fort Worth Tx. I have been doing a lot of research on laser vitreolysis and he seems to be the best option when it comes to that specific treatment as its all he has done for more than 10 years. Also if you are younger there is a higher chance he cant treat you and will tell you so.
Zaphod I will look into Bartonella infection

Re: Eye Floaters and Visual Snow
There's a vitamin combo supplement thats sold in pharmacies called Vita-Lux. It has lots of vitamin A in it and it supposed to clear up floaters. It also warns you that if you are a smoker it might have the potential to cause cancer. Some kind of connection there.
