Does anybody use or have experience with Celery Seed Extract? Have you noticed any benefits?

I'm considering it to lower uric acid (responsible for possible crown loss?) as it lower aldosterone. One the other hand, I see that it increases androsterone (does it?). If so, wouldn't raising androsterone be bad for hair?

Hairloss is caused by reactive oxygen species damage to the hair follicle. Phenolic acids, like those found in celery seeds, may help protect the hairline from free radicals by reducing and neutralizing them.

I'm a fan of celery seed extract. Some people will need or benefit from it more than others (especially those with hyperuricemia/high uric acid levels).

Also I do agree with the sentiment about ROS in the hair follicle. However, how well whichever agent works is key. This why for example I use Ecklonia cava as one of the key supplements because of the very long half-life and the universal (water and fat soluble effects in tissues).

Celery seed extract is a mild diuretic (so more trips to the bathroom), however it also helps boost bedroom performance. It's always fun to take.

This one here is standardized for 85% 3-n-butylphthalide. There's interesting research on it. Other forms require a higher dosage to get the desired effect.
