Digestive Help! Empty Digestive Help!

Hey guys. Some of you may remember me. I had a few posts here talking about my issues with Crohns disease. I'm still suffering, but now I'm trying to target specific issues instead of the entire disease, and maybe, just maybe, we can knock out these symptoms one by one.

As of this writing, the ONLY thing I'm taking is Symbiotics Colostrum High-IG 960MG.

My biggest symptom is soft stool, sometimes diarreah, and usually a shade of yellow. It's also very narrow at times. I think things are passing through my digestive tract to soon. I fluctuate between constipation and diarreah constantly, but since I started taking Colostrum and nothing else, I've been falling more on the loose side. I use a lot of bath tissue.

For the experts .. if we can take Crohns out of the equation, what does this mean? how can I help myself? any suggestions?

I will also say my diet is mostly solid. I am completely dairy free, and I fall off my gluten free diet a few times a month. It's not perfect, but its pretty damn good considering where it used to be.

Sadly every cheat you do with food allergens can worsen your inflammation. I still don't have anything more to offer, but to advice to support the gut integrity via supplementation of glutamine, high dose vit C and MSM, and also essential minerals as magnesium, iodine (go slow), selenium, potassium, etc... and of course introducing probiotics such as from fermented foods and some super stains.

Other than that i'd focus and really focus on fixing stomach that will support you with better digestion of nutrients. If taking ACV before meal (high tolerance to acidic foods) help you digest a meal better, go forth with buying something as betaine HCL. It's important from various array of reasons to have adequate levels of stomach acid. If memory serves, hiatal hernia can also prevent you from having success.

Bile flow is also essential, some bitter foods and herbs can stimulate it. Would go after dandelion first...

Thanks, Beebrox. I keep starting and stopping the high does vitamin C and MSM, specifically, because they tend to worsen my situation... without being super graphic, they seem to increase the speed by which food goes through my system. With that being said, I may start them up again.

I have this bottle of Glucosamine HCL 1500 MG with MSM 1500 MG. Is there any reason why I shouldn't try this? do I want to avoid glucosamine and get the MSM separately?

I actually use AVC when I know I've had something I shouldn't have. It helps with the pain I usually have in my stomach, but again, all of these together put me in the bathroom frequently.

It's been a while since I've given Glutamine a fair shot. I'll start that one up again. I have 1 gram capsules of L-Glutamine. Any dosing suggestions?

Same as me, either really constipated, or loose bowels with thin light feces.
