Digestive Enzyme Without Protease?
I've been reading a lot about digestive enzymes, and due to the condition of my stomach (and ulcer issues) i've been reading about taking enzymes without protease, as that can aggravate ulcers.
My problem is I cannot find a product without protease. Any suggestions?

Re: Digestive Enzyme Without Protease?
There is a product that you can get from Iherb called Acid-Ease by Enzymatic Therapy. It is a combination of digestive enzymes minus protease. I too suffered from ulcers years and do experience pain when I take enzymes containing protease. I would love to know how to build up my stomach as I would like to take a full spectrum digestive enzyme without the pain. I wonder if Wobenzym would be better. I'm also sensitive to L-Glutamine as well but have had no problems with Acid-Ease.

I appreciate the suggestion, greatful -
I ordered that enzyme, didn't feel great on it, looked at the ingredients again and I remembered that I don't do well with slippery elm for some reason.
Does anyone know of any other digestive enzymes without protease and slippery elm?

Re: Digestive Enzyme Without Protease?
Sorry to hear that but one thing I should add is that everyday I have a green smoothie. Since I've started this routine I've noticed that my stomach feels so much better. Give it a try for a while and see how it goes. Besides, it tastes great and I also use it as a meal replacement. This is what I put in it:
1. lots of kale
2. Half an avocado
3. One banana
4. One heaped tablespoon of wheatgrass powder
5. Handful of blueberries (optional)
I also make a separate juice of lemons but the trick is to also juice the lemon peel as well as the "meat" of the lemon. I heard that the components of lemon peel are very good for the stomach. Also lessens the acidic taste of the lemon and gives it a more creamier texture.
Hope the above helps and would love to hear how you go on it if you try it.
