A vaccine that selectively suppresses immune cells-rather than bolstering them-to control an autoimmune disease. The first reverse vaccine showed promising results in a clinical trial. It targets cells in the immune system that attack the insulin producing cells of a person with type 1 diabetes. -Wired

Wonder if they can do this to the immune cells that are partially responsible for hairloss

IMO, it would hold the most promise for alopecia areata and similar ones as androgenic alopecia is a bit more to tackle than just immune dysfunction, IMO.

There already are topical Vitamin D or UV light for skin, including succesfully used for alopecia areata but Standard Process PMG extracts is a better method to try first, IMO.  For skin, there is Nermatrophin.  I take neurotrophin personally.  http://eleccomommedicine.wordpress.com/2013/01/30/supplements-for-autoimmune-conditions/

hope this helps
