Whole crown thinned seemingly overnight: need help trying to narrow down possible causes, feedback greatly appreciated.

Hey guys.

So yeah, like the topic says, my whole crown, or just the entire MPB area (top of scalp) seemed to thin out significantly, practically over night. Texture and density of my hair just seems significantly more thin.. My regimen has been unchanged except 4 new things that happened. Was looking for advice/feedback on what you guys think:

1) 2 days before I noticed the sudden thinning, I started augmentin (amoxcicillin antibiotic) for a tooth infection.

2) I have been doing infra red saunas almost every day for the past 2 weeks.

3) I have recently started doing full scalp massages

4) The *day* before I noticed the sudden thinning I used a bottle of hotel shampoo with just regular run of the mill shit ingredients : SLS etc..

I have been brushing almost 1 1/2 months now with olive oil daily so I dont think its the BB brushing. Nothing else in my regimen has changed. Then there is the possibility that my MPB just got really aggresive and I wasnt noticing it before, but such a sudden onset seems very peculiar to me..

Ideas? Feedback much appreciated!

Taking an antibiotic to "kill" bacteria in a tooth infection doesn't work...it only makes things far worse.

If there is an infection at the apex of the tooth in which bacteria can thrive, neither white blood cells of the immune system, nor antibiotics can reach them. Moreover, one can become sicker from taking antibiotics because the immune system has to clean up the splattering. Never take an antibiotic without taking a probiotic.

When using a infrared sauna (be sure to cool down afterwards and replace your salts).

I was put on that augmentin more to reduce the intense pain it was causing till my appt next Monday to re drill the root canal and clean out the infection topically. The augmentin is working in that regard.

In regards to the sauna , I always take a
Cold shower after and follow it up with my cold aloe/msm topical.

Immortal, do you think the antibiotic could cause a sudden thinning like this?

*I also forgot to mention I started taking 15 mg zinc daily about 2 weeks ago and have noticed a libido increase from it. Could this spike in libido mark an indirect raise in dht (from raised test) which could be causing the thinning?

The zinc a problem?  Absolutely not (it's a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor), and 2nd, raising T is good (the question is, do you have inflammation that could be affecting SHBG?).

If you have a root canal or other type of infection (such as a cavitation), antibiotics are not the answer.

Why?

Sure antibiotics kill bacteria, however getting worse can be a real consequence.

Most antibiotics will kill a bacterium, the bacterium explodes leaving fragments (pieces of lipopolysaccharide) and or bacterial endotoxins.

Modern medicine kills because they use a blunt hammer and destroy things in the process.

Here is something of note to consider...endotoxins and exotoxins. The later are toxic chemicals that are released by pathogenic bacteria. Endotoxins are toxic fragments of the original bacteria caused by the bacterial explosion caused by the antibiotic.

Endotoxins wage a serious assault on the immune system. Now there is a far greater inflammatory force than before.

Floating cadavers cannot be readily eliminated by such infections. Pieces of endotoxin increase inflammation, not lessen it.

There are other ways to deal with this problem (oil pulling), lypo-spheric C.

I am only on the antibiotic for 1 week. It has greatly helped to reduce the pain from the infection when other things didnt.

I only have a couple days left and I am done.


To clarify, were you saying that you think the antibiotic could have caused this sudden thinning? (through ways of increasing inflammation as you explained).

And on the point of SHBG, an increase in testosterone would lead to an increse in SHBG and you were thinking I might have inflammation related to an increase in SHBG?

As CS said, an approach:

1. Antibiotic, increases inflammation

2. SLS exacerbated inflammation topically, upon the weakened state generally

3. sauna will release toxins from adipose tissue, inflammatory if detoxification pathways weak

Suggestions;

Supplement with (purple bottle) Quercetin, Phytosome curcumin, ecklonia cava and resveratrol for massive synergistic anti inflammatory immediate impacts.

Then for one month drink lemon water (lemon in evian or better still alkaline water like essential water) morning and night, and take 1 tsp of water at lunch; and do head / hand stands 3 sets, 3 times a day for one month.

And take Immuneboost 77 humifulvate minerals * 2 at night for 3 months. (detox)

Add Biotin 10,000 mcg every day * 3.

Could it be a shed from the BB brushing? Not sure if 1.5 months is long enough to bring about shedding, but just a thought. Guys who have been through sheds may be able to shine some light on this ....
