Diet - Going Gulten free, need advice
Hi folks,
I've been experimenting with a Gulten free diet recently. My stomach feels much better and at the same time my bowel movements are becoming more regular. Energy levels are up as well
The one downside i've experienced is i've lost around 10lbs. Im already a pretty tall and lanky person (6 ft 2 - down to 160 lbs). I'm afraid if i go down this path - ill end up losing more weight. In addition i lift weights, so i really crave large meals. I want to incorporate some grains in my diet but fear falling back into the same gut issues. Any advice would be really appreciated!
Thanks!

Strider - There's no gluten in rice, beans and starches like potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. Just putting those back in will keep you gluten free and give you more energy from carbs to use in the gym and probably pack some of the weight back on you. Try adding them back in and see how you feel. In my experience, the only thing could cause you an issue are beans/lentils because of gas.

Thank you Hadrion - i have started brown rice. I am amazed at how quickly it digests. Literally within 2 hours i am hungry for another bowl. I tried potatoes but it gave me stomach cramps/constipation (i think the quality/pesticides is to blame), i haven't tried sweet potatoes but will def give them a try.
Thanks again!
