topical ascorbic acid for mpb

Has any man here with classic mpb actually stopped or slowed hair loss with topical ascorbic acid that you would buy from say pure bulk website?
Some of the science for it looks good but I've yet to hear of real results on topical asc. Acid helping with male pattern baldness. Thanks

I am currently using ascorbic acid topically (~200mg in 1.5ml water) EOD, however, alongside other things; also, my hairloss is stopped from long ago, meaning I am not trying stopping my hairloss, rather gain back some lost ground. Have briefly used it before.
I like it so far, and will maintain it for the forseeable future; so far no real assessment about effectivness possible.
