Raw eggs: Avidin and biotin

Since taking up the advice of Dr. Jerry Tennant and started drinknig a smoothie with different things which include 2 raw eggs each morning, I've come upon a lot of claims that the avidin in the raw egg white will make you biotin deficient.
I saw it stated that taking only 2 raw eggs daily for a few months would lead to severe biotin deficiency.
Is this true? Could I take biotin to counter this or would it all be inactivated by the avidin?
