CS : Oxidative stress caused by Polyunstaturated Fats (PUFAs)
After considerable reading I feel premature MPB (atleast in my case) has been caused largely by a decade
of poor dietary choices specially consumption of cooked vegetable oils. Slowly I am replacing all cooking
with coconut oil / ghee & extra virgin olive oil. Now the question is how can I speed up the healing of all
the oxidative damage caused. My plan is to do the following (my previous approach of shot-gun pills never
worked and took me nowhere) :
1) Keep using coconut oil / extra virgin olive oil / ghee.
2) Increase intake of beta-alanine (I am taking 2.250 grams per day in divided doses).
3) Increase intake of NAC to boost glutathione. Direct intake of glutathione does not seem to work
as stomach acids destroy it.
If one studies the chemical reaction of beta-alanine and Glutathione they both reduce H2O2 in the body
significantly, I feel this is critical in my case as I have had quite a high consumption of PUFAs. I have
decided AGAINST super oxide dimustase and coenzyme 10 as they both produce H2O2 while getting rid
of the O(-ve) molecule. I don't have enough biology knowledge but it seems production of H2O2 does
not sound good at all.
In addition I am thinking of supplementing with Jarrow's complete range Vitamin E (Toco-sorb), in quite
a few studies Vitamin E has been shown to be effective in mitigating effects of PUFAs. Is there anything
else that you can think of that will help in this regard?
Anyone is welcome to chime in, appreciate all responses.

No need to be afraid of Co-enzyme Q10, adding tocotrienols is fine, such as toco-sorb.
Usually the hair loss puzzle is more complex than just the oils.

Thanks CS. I mentioned oils because I have consistently (every single day) consumed canola oil for many years, no wonder I lost hair at a young age. Today I read the contents of my canola oil, it had dimethylproxysiloxane! It's hard to believe I have been eating this stuff.
