Forskolin???
Hey Guys, I just started using forskolin for overall health and as an adjunct to my exercise. Have any of you guys tried this "wonder" supplement (sarcasm)? Any experiences you can share?

Re: Forskolin???
Few years ago, I tricked a company into thinking I was a company and they sold me $200-300 worth of 98% Forskolin. I took 1g of the stuff, and had the worst headache ever...lasted from midnight to 8 am in the morning. Then I tried it again a few weeks later and did the same at 500mg...same result. Threw the stuff out afterwards, way too potent.
Granted, the stuff you have on the other hand is not a 98% extract.

Re: Forskolin???
I take ForsLean, which is Coleus forskohlii root extract, standardized at 20% yielding 25 mg of forskohlin.
Why? It has many uses, personally I use it as a fat burner. Other advantages, when the dose is correct (emphasis added) it increases T3, providing energy, it also lowers blood pressure.

Re: Forskolin???
I wonder if it has any hair related benefits? Studies show that it increases testosterone...

I am giving this brand a trail;

Has anyone had any good results with this? What dosage? What is a realistic time frame?
Thanks.

Re: Forskolin???
I was taking this thyroid supplement called ThyroGold and it had forskolin in it. That was the only thyroid supplement that gave me brain fog, totally spaced out, really disliked the stuff.

Here's the Aussie version of a better product. The value overall is better.

Re: Forskolin???
Thanks CS! I was also wondering what kind of dosages you think are ok? What sort of time frame do you think results are seen in?
I am also doing the 5/2 intermittent fasting diet.
I am guessing that I am around 14% body fat at the moment and would like to get it down to about 12% in 4 weeks.
Thanks!

I can't comment on how fast/long the results will be, it's just variable.
Two caps per day.
