Hey man,

A friend of mine decided to move a couch roughly her body weight and injured her back pretty good. Nothing permanent, but she's taking muscle relaxers and painkillers to deal with the pain. She hates the way that the drugs make her feel though and was wondering if there was a natural herbal alternative so I figured I'd see if you knew of anything that may be able to help her out a bit?

Thanks a bunch!

Dan

nidhogge - If the pain doesn't resolve in a week, then she may have a tear in her ligaments or tendons. If that's the case, the best treatment which would be the cure, is Prolotherapy. It's an injection of water, dextrose and lidocaine, and it induces the body to do its own ligament and tendon reconstruction. It works very well. www.getprolo.com for listings.

If it's not that severe and she would like something other than the drugs, this formula has been really great over the years:

I have always been intrigued/envious of people that do not like the feeling that opiates give them! Smile I could have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering if I was so fortunate. Luckily for me, stimulants I hate with a passion so I never have to worry about going down that road.
