Scalpure ingredients (peppermint oil inhibiting hair growth???)
I was just looking at the Scalpure website. I'm considering buying it, seeing as a few people on here have spoken highly of it. I need something to get rid of scalp shine, I guess by exfoliating my scalp.
Anyway, looking at the ingredients I saw peppermint oil. I've read before that pep oil is an antiandrogen (which gave many people in other forums the idea of using it as a topical), but also that it inhibits hair growth somehow. Since reading about this effect a while back I've been hesitant to use pep oil.
Can anyone shine any light on this subject?

Yanks - Androgens create 'paradoxical" reactions with hair. Peppermint and spearamint will inhibit beard and auxillary air, but will help scalp hair.

I'm thinking about buying some to give it a go, although cs posted a site recently worldhairloss.org or some such which showed you how to make your own with betonnite clay, that way you could substitute ingredients or add others... could have potential
