Melatonin cycling question Empty Melatonin cycling question

Post  hadrion Mon Mar 01, 2010 5:09 am

I'm trying to get a handle on how to cycle melatonin. My wife and I are taking it at night with spectacular results when it comes to the quality of our sleep and the way we physically feel the next day.

I know in my case, I'm getting ridiculous erections like when I was 15 which is pretty funny. My dreams are also much more vivid and fun.

I know that you're supposed to cycle it, but I can't find any clear idea on how to cycle it.

Any recommendations would be appreciated as we're going to take it and it's definitely become a part of my regimen.

I don't know how you are "supposed" to cycle it but I've been taking it Sunday throuhg Thursday nights and taking Fri and Sat off.

Seems to be working for me.

Thanks for the tip Scotty. I think I'll try 2 days on 1 day off and see how it shakes out.

My wife was actually the one who asked me to get her some as a friend had recommended it to us. I think I just ignored adding it thinking I had everything covered in my regimen.

Since starting it I've been feeling a lot sharper mentally during the early hours than I did before. I think it's a great supplement.

What melatonin potency are you guys using? Is there something specific I should be cautious of when using melatonin for the first time?
Can it disrupt your natural sleep pattern and get difficult for one to sleep when quitting it or skip a dose?

edony - It's quite safe, usually 1 to 3 milligrams is the dosage.

CS, does melatonin have an effect in sexual performance ?Hadrion states so ,if yes thru what mechanism?

I was researching the use of melatonin topically and I stumbled upon a german hairloss forum,I get the feeling that is widely used in Europe in custom topical preperations .Any idea on topical melatonin and how it could help?
