Well took a few pics using a microscope of the thining patch on the back of my head. I see small hair, but so difficult to determine whether this is hair on the way out or something more positive

I think the microscope is useful and I will be taking more pics to try and guage what is happening (positive or negative)

I think the best way to make use of a microscope is to somehow mark the area (tattoo a few dots?) so that you can really record progress. Otherwise you just have some neat pictures that don't tell you a whole lot because a shot of the area less than a centimeter away from the other pics would should definite differences. Unless you're looking for things like inflammation and overall skin health.
