This has been around for a very long time as a hair treatment (prior to Y2K).
There are some reports of gyno (does a wonderful job of boosting breast milk production in women). There is notable odor excretion that some people find troublesome.
Here's a study that reveals what is possible.

How can we balance the hormonal effects of the gyno when taking fengru?

But isn't that the issue in the first place, that the side effect of fenugreek is hair?

HAIR growth is also a side effect as GYNO, just like Finesteride or minoxidil.
But then again probably capsules like usual, and not the seed itself.
And the so called natural (supplement industry) became the same as the drug industry, this pill will lower the side effect from the other pill.

Probably these side-effects will occur in fewer people. Looks promising for the vertex area based on those photos.

So should I use the natural fengrugeek instead of capsules?

About that link :
He says:
-"the bald spot on the top of my head has lot’s of fresh hair popping up. "
-"Fenugreek has completely stopped my hair loss and my hair is about 300% thicker with much better coverage."
and then:
-"The bad news however is the dead hair follicles that haven’t produced hairs in years did not regrow hair."
Kind of confusing. Does he means that hair follicles that haven’t produced hairs in years cannot regrow hairs, but hair follicles lost "recently" can ?
Because I see more hair on the second pic. So if it cannot regrow hairs, why it seems he has more hair ? ...

Maybe the bald area had a lot of vellus hairs that you couldn't see unless you had a magnifying glass. So a slick bald spot that you had for years will probably remain that way. If a spot was just thinning gradually then maybe the newly lost hairs might be rejuvenated. I wonder if you can make a topical with fenugreek. What would you dissolve the capsules in? Water? Alcohol?

Dissolve it in chaga, and you get the benefits of the mushroom itself.
Again capsules for crying out loud, use the seeds instead.

Pretty sure slick bald spots would take way longer to rejuvenate, plus they would need some stimulation like massage and brushing
