Can anyone think of any downsides (besides the mess) to a hair spray of OptiMSM and distilled water I'm using?

I can think several downsides for topical DMSO, absolutely none for MSM. I add MSM to my topical as well, just because it's a great transdermal carrier alone.

Ok, thanks, it creates quite a mess of white powder what doesn't get absorbed into the scalp but nothing a quick swab with water can't fix
