I am considering buying a bottle to try out to help with mental clarity/brain fog and getting rid of mycotoxins.  What is your experience with it?

I have quite a bit of experience with glutathione supplements. I would avoid the liposomal form though.
It claims to have increased absorption, but plain old L-glutathione in a capsule is absorbed quite well, despite all the articles out there claiming otherwise.
Liposomal often has un-wanted emulsifiers that actually increase the body's toxicity.
Take a look at something like GSH Gold.
You want a supplement that not only has the L-glutathione, but the precursors that ramp up the body's natural production as well.
Another advantage of going with a capsule, longer shelf life and no nasty taste!
Hope this helps.

I had ordered this one http://www.seekinghealth.com/liposomal-glutathione-seeking-health.html within 10 minutes of starting this thread.

I guess Ill get to taking it and try some of the others after Im out of this.

I have read in many places that its advised to take this every other day for 4 weeks then give a weeks rest. Have you found in your experience that this should be followed?

Well there is certainly nothing wrong with the seekinghealth liposomal glutathione, it is just crazy expensive for what you are getting.
I haven't heard about taking it every other day. I don't see why you wouldn't take it everyday, considering it only contains Glutathione (hopefully the reduced form, can't tell from the supp facts), you would want the full dosage everyday. When you also supplement with the precursors ect, you end up with a much better result.
Be sure to follow the storage guidelines as liposomal glutathione is notoriously un-stable.
Please update us on how you like it. But I would still suggest the supplement in my previous reply, after years of supplementing with different glutathione supps, it has been my saving grace.
All the best!

Well first and foremost I started supplementing glutathione because my immune system was shot.
As I researched further and fine-tuned my supplement routine (was taking about 6 different supplements, dozen pills per day) I noticed a huge improvement in all aspects of my health / life. Energy, sleep quality, look and feel of my skin / hair and nails, cleared my brain fog and I just felt younger... If that makes sense.
Since then I just take 2 pills per day, + an omega-3 supplement. It's amazing how far glutathione supplements have come in the past couple of years especially. As it gets more and more attention, companies are offering much better quality supplements than previously. Eliminating the need for a dozen pills, which I am very grateful for!

Im actually considering an intranasal spray also. Im working on a doctor friend to write a script for it. It has to be prescription since it comes from a compounding pharmacy.

angstman,

Have you continued your use of the liposomal glutathione? What are your results with the supplement? Did you also try the L-glutathione form?
Thanks

I used it till the bottle ($125!) was empty which lasted about 2 months. Honestly I don't think the pharmacy did a good mix of it. I felt that the mist was quite thick/clumpy compared to other sprays I have used... I did not notice any significant changes.

I plan on trying the capsule form in the near future and will post an update.

Interesting, I've seen mixed opinions on the capsule form, or more specifically the l-glutathione form about absorption. However, reviews for l-glutathione powder are very positive. If you end up getting the reduced form, would you be making it liposomal?

I've been looking into incorporating supplements that raise glutathione, so I figured why not take that stuff straight up.

Glutathione is the body's natural "master antioxidant"
It is an antioxidant produced by the liver to neutralize and remove harmful substances from the body including heavy metals.
It is theorized by immortal hair and others that balding people are deficient in this substance and the main focus of his entire regimen is raising his glutathione levels. Reducing toxicity and heavy metals will help the body's cellular system produce mitochondrial energy at a higher rate, which should down the line help hair growth. The relation to hair growth is indirect but reduce toxicity/heavy metals > reduce pathogens > regulate body's hormonal system > thicken and possibly regrow hair.

Oral glutathione is more bioavailable than people realize, but the liposome helps increase bioavailability of an otherwise expensive reduced powder. The liposome component is especially important to bypass malabsorption of a fatty liver.

I have been supplementing with DIY liposomal glutathione, vitamin C, CoQ10 and sometimes colostrum for almost 5 years. And especially the GSH and CoQ10 work very nicely according to my lab work results.
