In a dilemma, looking for advice! (Manuals related)

Hey everyone.

So I've been brushing now for around 5.5 months. 170 strokes on both temples, crown, and front. 680 Strokes total. I believe I'm seeing new growth but I can't say 100%

I just received my DT massage tools so I wanted to start that as well.

My hesitation is that I wanted to see how brushing panned out for me by itself. With DT combined I wouldn't be able to tell. But then part of me wants to start DT asap as maybe brushing won't pan out and I would have wasted all that time waiting to see..

Anyways, my 2 questions:

1) would 680 brush strokes combined with 40 min of DT/day be too much?

2) if I picked up DT and only did DT, would my possible brushing results be picked up from where they are by starting DT? Or would I revert back to square one all over by starting DT alone?
