Licking may cure hair loss ?

I was looking at some data on how saliva can affect nitric oxide and wound healing and I was thinking about how it could help hair loss. By searching on google I found that barber in south africa was curing baldness with COW LICKING: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPMNv7kwZzk

It may seems weird at first, but licking may act like a natural alternative to minoxidil.

Good grief - the lengths we go too :-) This is in South America BTW, not South Africa, although I could easily see South Africans doing this.

Saliva is basically a cheap natural equivalent to prox-n. Both contains Nitric Oxide, and SOD (to counter-react oxidation).

How saliva is effective is still to be determined, but spreading your own salive (or your dog saliva) on your scalp will probably help to some extents.
