Gluten Free Oats Empty Gluten Free Oats

Post  ElmoSuper8 Tue Jul 22, 2014 12:51 pm

Anyone know anything about gluten free oats? Ive seen then in the local health food shop in cereals etc. Since I have quit wheat and dairy I have lost way too much weight and I was thinking off maybe eating these oats but I'm wondering if they would be bad for people with hair loss, I mean could there be other harmfuls in these oats that are similar to gluten?

So, I was just wondering if there was anyone who includes oats or gluten free oats in their diet, yet still manages to control their hair loss, perhaps has already halted their hair loss, and have found no problems with eating oats.

Like I say, I really need to put some weight on so I would really appreciate some advice; mostly people keep advising to eat plenty of fatty cuts of meat etc, but nothing I eat makes up for the gap that wheat and dairy has left in my diet. Perhaps I should eat more rice, but I'm worried that that will just spike the blood sugar.

Thanks

Everyone is different on how they respond to food. For me, eating oats packs on the pounds. I suspect in my case, it is some type of allergy, since an allergy provokes ghrelin levels to spike (causing an increase in hunger).

For weight gain, I would suggest trying some A2, raw, grass-fed milk (if you can find it). Unlike A1, which can be toxic, this safe form of dairy is usually well tolerated and may help with underweight or excess weight.

That sounds perfect, because goats milk is A2.
