This protocol will not work for everybody because as CS mentioned, the root cause of why we are losing hair is all different for everybody. Taking megadoses of vitamin B's may be beneficial for some people by accelerating Krebs cycle to increase ATP level, but it may be harmful for some people who have nitric oxide synthase deficiency; the deficiency can be from genetic mutation or acquired. Also, high circulation of Krebs Cycle can cause buildup of ammonia.

Holy crap... do not try to make a one size fit all formula for hair loss. There may be some components that everybody can benefit from, but if you push it to extreme end like this, the result will be very black and white. This thread gives me literal shiver.

I recently started taking biotin, before discovering this thread, and noticed my 6 year dandruff problem had improved. I took 5 mgs every other day. Then saw this Dan's personal exper and decided to try a higher dose. I too am coming from a keto diet that I used successfully to treat my bipolar disorder, the downside of the diet was extremely aggressive dandruff and hairloss. I took zinc and B6 about 3 months ago and noticed a world of difference in my mood, anxiety, muscle growth, test overall. Pyroluria had come to mind and biotin is deficient in this as well. Long story short, I took 15 mgs in the am yesterday and 30mgs in the pm and the following morning my Dry flaky skin on face and dandruff had completely disappeared. My basal body temp has also seemed to go up and my heart is beating in a different way. I am hoping this continues but all signs seem that this was my missing link for hair and skin
