Are grains bad?
So, I'm a pescatarian (no meat, only fish). I eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. I avoid gluten, sugar, and dairy. I am now reluctant to eat grains (thanks to a recent post by CS). I am wondering if gluten free oatmeal or gluten free pasta is still okay to have. This diet is getting increasingly more difficult to stay on top of. Thanks, guys.

Paleo without the meat is the way to go. Read up on the thread I posted about enzymes and you will see why raw is the way to go.
I can’t eat wheat, I get bad reactions from gluten but I can eat oats, oats are not recommend as they are grains. You might want to read up on lectins.
Try adding legumes to your diet with low lectins.

On diet, everyone is truly different. Sometimes one man's poison is another man's (food).
Different metabolic types, different allergens. Some can handle some types of grains to varying degrees. I can handle wheat at high temperature cooking, but can't touch oats (will bloat up and get fat in a hurry)...However, I try to abstain from grains...Even the types of rice can make a difference.
On meat, if it's suitable, opt for grass (pasture-fed)/free range as much as possible. No antibiotics required for these healthy animals.
Ultimately listen to your body.

Re: Are grains bad?
It's difficult for me because I refrain from meat for ethical reasons (yes, I'm a fucking hypocrite). I have yet to give up fish because I love sushi and this diet is incredibly strict and hard to follow already.
