Oats - OK to use grains? Empty Oats - OK to use grains?

Post  lambyjay Tue Jan 18, 2011 8:50 pm

Hey Im in agreement about the whole Warrior Diet thing being better for health in general but I was just wondering what people taught of using Raw Oats (soaked overnight to remove Phytic Acid).
I have introduced them to my diet over the past number of days and have only noticed positives like better bowel movements and more energy.
Will this be detrimental to long term health?
Thanks

I think there's a little too much paranoia about grains! The only problem with oats is they do contain a bit of gluten (though not as much as wheat). If you're alright with gluten then I doubt they'll do any real harm to your digestion - the important thing is just to kill bad bacteria, parasites and candida, cleanse the liver of fat and reintroduce good bacteria with something like kefir. Those seem the crucial elements!
