Baking soda and other natural scalp cleansers
How does everyone feel about using baking soda and water as a cleansing agent instead of shampoo? Or raw egg?
I've seen a lot of accounts online about people replacing shampoo with these two

Re: Baking soda and other natural scalp cleansers
People in the uber natural hair shampoo world use either lemon juice, ACV, baking soda, green tea or clays.
Clay has been interesting for me. I notice a huge flushing red scalp after and lowered sebum production. I don't use it regularly cuz it's a pain to let it sit for 12 mins to dry. But luckily I shave my head so I can see after the shower if anything is different.
Just my two cents.
If your interested Chris kresser has a podcast issue. One of the last 5 on natural body stuff. A girl talks about some interesting stuff.

I sometimes use baking soda for scalp and face cleansing. It get rids of the sebum. Your face also feels less oily for a few days. I never used it on regular basis as a replacement to a shampoo though.

I use baking soda as a deodorant and it dries the fuck out of the hair and skin. If you do try it, don't use much.
