dermaroller question
hi all im just curious how do youall cleanse or sterilize dermaroller in between treatments? i plan on buying the 170 needle roller and not sure how often it will dull out and need to get a new one?? and im worried about infection as this does puncture into blood vessels i want to make sure its clean so what is a good sterilaztion protocol in between rolling? i cant burn it because of the plastic of the roller itself so alchohol then water??? much thanks!

Re: dermaroller question
You want to swish your roller in a container of really hot soapy water after rolling (don't let the needles bang the side of the container or you might bend them), then let it soak in another container of alcohol or T-chloramine or some heavy-duty sanitizer afterwards. Put cotton, some gauze, or paper towels in the bottom of your soaking container for a cushion, so that your needles don't get blunted or bent. Leave it soak in the sanitizing solution for at least an hour, can be left overnight.
Store in a sealed container afterwards. Soak in alcohol again for a little bit before re-using the next session.
No disrespect to Joey, but his advice is a little to cavalier with the sanitizing. I know of people who have gotten staph infections from using improperly sanitized rollers in their own homes. You really want to err on the side of overdoing sanitation with these things. Better too much than not enough. It doesn't matter that Joey or whoever has never gotten staph by less sanitation. You really don't want it to happen to you. Nasty stuff.

Haha, go with what that guy says. I happily never got staph, sounds like a bad time.
