Stomach Bug Empty Stomach Bug

Post  Silverlin Fri Apr 17, 2009 12:16 pm

I've had a 'stomach bug' for the last couple of days that I caught off a friend of mine(been constantly throwing up). Just been fasting the whole time while taking activated charcoal which has helped. In the past when I've had the same symptoms I usually have a 'fever bath' which works, but is psychologically really demanding and really needs another person to administer. So I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are any simple effective means in speeding up recovery or flat out annihilating the problem? (maybe iodine?)

Silverlin - Calcium Lactate can help you feel better and bring down the fever. This effect is called the calcium wave. Now Brand has Calcium lactate tablets are great for this. Avoid other forms of calcium for this.

IH - Strangely to me my temperature has been on average 35.5 degrees celsius over the past day(felt like shit) but has been picking up. Whenever i've had a stomach bug my temperature always drops, sometimes as low as 34 celsius. Do you know of any reason for this?

Hey-

I used to catch stomach bugs all the time from my kids who are in day care. I swear though, that once I started taking high quality probiotics almost two years ago, I haven't had a problem since.

Also, Dr. Mercola recommenda that when a stomach bug occurs, to mega dose on probiotics and it will cut down the time the symptoms last.
