CS: Most active form of B-vitamins
Hello, I want to try different b-vitamins and see how they affect my health.
Unfortunately i have no idea which chemical forms are the most active...could you tell me what i have to look for when chosing different b-vitamins?
Thanks

As a good place to start, would try this one - Thorne Research, B-Complex #12
It contains activated forms and will provide better benefits than the majority of others found on the market.

Thank you. How can i find out if vitamins are "activated"? Are there any indicators or do we have to rely on studies?
I prefer buying pure powder to avoid any irritants etc. Could please list the active forms of the vitamins or send me a link where i can read it myself?

It's not an easy subject to condense in only a few words. It's doubtful you will find this in a powder. Click on the above link and you'll see the forms listed in the parenthesis, B2, B6, Folate and B12 are all in active forms.

I will give this one a try. Do you have any sources that further explain this subject of "activated" vitamins?

Off hand, no. The basic idea is that activated forms will in many cases overcome some enzyme defects, work much better, and may create very noticeable effects, vs the standard variety.
