Institute of Medicine - TUL Data for Vitamins & Minerals - Safe Daily Intakes For Vitamins & Minerals
It seems that there are always quite a few threads about a particular supplement and whether its safe to ingest daily, and what daily dosages are safe.
Maybe people will see this thread and be able to return to it, or refer others to it so as to answer these questions more easily. And as we aren't likely to remember these all by heart, here's a link to return to in case you ever need to know what the TUL is or how liberal to be if you're experimenting with a particular mineral/vitamin.
Obviously these are just for the vitamins and mins. No plant extracts or crude herbals. I'm not sure there is a tabularized piece of data for recommended doses of other kinds of supplements. But if somebody has one, go ahead and slap it on here.
