Quick question about resting/active heart rate development w/me
I've been really attacking the future potential for heart disease in myself through diet, exercise and supplements since I have a history of it in my family.
In the supplement area for preventing heart disease I've been using Krill, Lecithin and added in the Pauling Protocol and Serrapeptase in addition to all the supps IH recommends.
While working out this week I've noticed my heart rate when I'm working out has been lower. During tough exertions/sprints on my cardio intervals where I used to be in the 150bps all the way up into the low 160bps, I'm now barely breaking 140bps.
I feel fine and nothing feels different physically.
I spoke with a few people at my gym about it who said this indicates my cardiovascular system is getting into better shape since a short high intensity sprint is not making my heart race.
Also my resting heart rate has gone down into the 50's from the 80's where it was when I first started losing my hair and started this regimen.
The thing is this heart rate adjustment has all happened in a matter of months. I'm pretty sure back in Feb/March my heart rate was still hitting the 160bps threshold during my sprints.
I'm just wondering if the cocktail of supps I'm taking could have had an effect on my heart rate and helped me in this area?
I wouldn't have mentioned this but it's a pretty dramatic difference and I think it's an indication that my heart health has improved since it's not racing upon the first shot of high intensity exercise.
Thoughts?

That should read bpm (beats per minute) not bps (beats per second). We need an edit feature here.
