Omega 3:6 Ratio Discussion Empty Omega 3:6 Ratio Discussion

Post  itzmecorey Sat Apr 23, 2011 7:00 am

I think this is a very important topic for discussion as it relates to hair loss im sure. This delicate balance is starting to become a big topic for research. Not to say either is bad or good as they are both necessary but Im trying to understand what is the optimal ratio? Researchers found high levels of omega 6:3 ratios here in america and on the contrary found just the opposite in say eskimos. What do we think is the best ratio for health.

This is very important for hair health as well because low grade inflammation plays a major role in thyroid/hypothalamus/etc... functioning

Thanks Fellas!

CS believes the ratio for omega 6 should be higher than omega 3. He did a post on it talking about PEOs.
