buckwheat cookies!

today my mom made the most DELICIOUS cookies using only buckwheat flour, organic eggs, banana and apples and coconut oil. They were SO good.

This should be not that detrimental right?

Buckwheat is really good. No gluten as it is technically not even a grain, and is good for insulin resistance. I actually included it for a while in my diet due to it's benefits. No reason I stopped other than I just ran out and haven't purchased more.

I heard of it a long time ago and have taken it for 2 years now. I take it raw in yogurt every morning. The surprise is it didn't lower my blood sugar but lowered my cholesterol to a point that I have been able to get off cholesterol meds. Also, i eat a lot of cherries and they lower blood sugar better than buckwheat .
