Who's eating buckwheat? Empty Who's eating buckwheat?

Post  Paradox Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:47 am

I have been eating Bob's Creamy buckwheat http://www.iherb.com/Bob-s-Red-Mill-Organic-Creamy-Buckwheat-Whole-Grain-Hot-Cereal-18-oz-1-lb-2-oz-510-g/11701?at=0 for breakfast everyday now for over 2 months. I notice that it controls my appetite and sugar cravings until late afternoon. I attribute this to the d-chiro-inositol in the buckwheat. D-chiro-inositol is used to treat PCOS by decreasing insulin resistance. CS has said many times how AGA is almost identical to PCOS in women, and he's right if you do the research. I have low blood sugar and I suspect many other guys with ALA have insulin resistance as well. I think I may start eating the buckwheat in the afternoon or even for dinner to cut out the night time food cravings that I get. You can buy d-chiro-inositol in pill form on iherb too. I Just thought I'd share the info and see if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
