I know Brian stresses the importance of a healthy thyroid for hair and people are interested in the details of how to test theirs and keep it working properly so I thought I'd let you know about an article he just wrote on HF. pancacke - A problem with the thyroid can result in too much thyroid hormone as well. In fact, an iodine deficiency can increase the possibility of too much thyroid hormone, as well as too little.

If there's too much thyroid hormone, and you could be a metabolism that is too high. Iodine can help over and under active thyroid.

If you're using over the counter glandulars, these typically do not have thyroid hormone in them, but can help "jump start" a slower thyroid.

Thanks, I'll consider an overactive thyroid responsible for my fast metabolsim. I guess the raw thyroid is nothing for me then, I spend too much money on supps anyway :>

As you mentioned tyrosine in the artice, a good source is pumpkin seed oil-also good for 5ar inhibition.
