I am starting to suspect my problem may be bacteria (and/or maybe parasites) in my liver - advice please :(
I'm so happy I may be closer to understanding but am so confused
I came to this conclusion when I learned that bacteria I believe like Salmonella can actually LIVE in the liver, after it tried to remove them from our blood to kill them with bile. Apparently of course they are then released WITH the bile, as they feed off it. This would explain my symptoms very well (diarrhoea, nausea, fainting, unbearable cramping after mayonnaise and diarrhoea and often pain after some other fatty foods or cooked egg). I never have upper right abdominal pain... my symptoms just don't quite match gallstones or biliary sludge. Plus, although I did eat a fair amount of pizza I'm only 25 and was much worse and sloppier when it came to cooking meat particularly chicken but very occasionally fish.
I'd love advice from people especially CS, etc. Is it bacteria, or parasites, or stones or am I barking up the wrong tree altogether?
Thanks very much,
Hoppi

Absolutely agree, reminds me of when people ask what is the best milk substitute to pour on their cereal.

Hoppipolla - Would need more information.
At any rate, there is always the possibility that you're not producing enough bile (would need more information to be sure).
Not having a shortage of bile makes a big difference on digestive health, probably greater than anything else besides good flora.
Let's say if you added some conjugated Bile Acids (such as bile acid factors by Jarrow), you might improve.
If it's parasites (doubtful), it would indicate that your low on stomach acid.

I ended up going for rice milk or oat milk as almond milk is expensive lol
And thanks CS, although thing is low bile production wouldn't really explain MPB, as surely it wouldn't reeeaally cause a toxic liver leading to inadequate hormone removal?

Coconut milk is the best replacement in my opinion. Rice milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc. usually contain added sugar.

Hoppipolla - Bile is one of the most overlooked areas in liver health and hormone transport.

hm yeah true enough. Well, I'm going to work on the bacteria, parasites and that primarily - I'm only 25 so I think cholesterol stones or underproduction of bile are probably less likely, and also my symptoms do seem to suggest a vicious and sudden bacterial response.
Confusing ol' human body eh? Well, I'll be on the Humaworm soon as well as 3 pomegranates worth of juice a day and at least most of the time sulforaphane and oregano, so hopefully that should do the trick! I do hope this is right as this has gone on long enough now! Enough is enough body!

I agree with CS here. If you have gallblader/liver issues and lack of bile, you may still experience the things you have experienced. Lack of bile still ties back into your bacteria issue.

However, particularly at 25, isn't bacteria being the root cause more likely? Why would my bile production suddenly plummet leading to liver toxicity? That seems possible but surely improbable, and why would that result in a food poisoning -like reaction after eating liver stimulating foods?
I could perhaps take a supplement or 2 or eat a food to increase bile flow. Any ideas? I heard artichoke is good o.O
