CS: Many supplements = lots of water with food => is this bad?
To swallow my 10 brewer's yeast tabs along with 6-7 other supplements at each meal I end up drinking about 2 cups of water.
Is drinking that much water right before or after a meal a bad idea? I worry it will dilutes the acidity of the stomach and inhibit the absorption/digestion of both food and supplements.
confused

teacup - It won't. Studies have been conducted on this, it's of little concern.

This mayo clinic article agrees http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/digestion/AN01776/ but then it goes on saying to eat grains.. so does this http://whfoods.org/genpage.php?tname=dailytip&dbid=120&utm
Browsing the Internet it's easy to see this issue seems controversial. But they all agree on not drinking cold water while eating. I can't find the studies to read and evaluate them myself.

You should make a point to always drink hot tea with meals or, at the very least, hot water. If my only option is cold water, I avoid drinking during meal (unless absolutely necessary), and drink some after meal.

I've seen a lot of mixed opinions on this issue.
The body generally craves colder water, because it flows into the cells better.

CS It was my understanding that the body craved colder water particularly after exercise to help with body temperature, but if one was to drink body temperature water wouldn't it absorb faster into the body?
I know that if I drink warm water in the morning I feel hydrated a lot quicker then if I drink cold water. Though if I'm hot or particular thirsty then my body craves colder water.
