Clays and Possible Adverse Reaction? Empty Clays and Possible Adverse Reaction?

I have just started using clays (recipe as per OMGs site). Is it normal for my scalp to be red after application for 20 mins or so? I don't normally suffer from visible scalp inflammation (even in MPB areas) and was slightly worried by having this happen. However, by the next day the scalp skin returns to normal. I am using a dash of tea tree and some jojoba oils with the clay (neither of which I have reacted to in the past). So for those experienced in using clays, is it normal for such a reaction or is it just the clay 'working'?

Nothing to worry about, a clay mask will cause this effect, I would be surprised if it didn't. Happens with me too.
