Hi

My regimen currently is

Curcumin
Resveratrol
Avocado oil daily + avocados daily as well (for beta-sitosterol).

I'm 23 years old, so I am one of the "young ones". I know that to some people, my regimen does not even qualify as a regimen, but I am too scared to just use Propecia. I've been on my regimen for 2 weeks now, but I think I need something to halt the hairloss. As far as I can see, the three things above do not do this. Can you recommend something?

Best,
Jim.

"As far as [you] can see, the three things above do not do this [for you]." Two weeks is not very "far," Jim. It is recommended that one use a regimen for at least three - six months, and then add or subtract supplements as his condition dictates.

The addition of natural DHT blockers might be helpful at your age.

Thanks. Are there any recommendations?

Nettles, saw palmetto, and pygeum come to mind. You can also go to some online supplement stores and search, "prostate formulas." They may be helpful to you as well.

Nature's Way has a product called Prostol: http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Way-Prostol-120-Softgels/4223?at=0 , which contains a quality nettles and saw palmetto extract. It is pretty powerful though, and may cause a decrease in libido.

Thanks. I am just a little worried about dosages, but I guess I will figure that out. If anybody else has experiences they would like to share, I am very happy to listen.

I have also thought about Green Tea extract, but the thing is, I am trying to gain weight (not by lifting weights, but simply by eating more). But I have read that Green Tea reduces the appetite?

Improve my current regimen Empty 31 Years of experience to help you

You have to realize that premature aging of any sort is due to various types of stress induced by modern civilization. Hair loss is directly associated with civilized cultures for over 2,300 years and non existent among people groups who live off the land. To get a full head of hair or keep a full head of hair is to grow your own garden and not eat meat that is commercially produced. All these supplements can be avoided by getting to the root cause; toxins and hormones within commercial foods. Plus, eliminate all alcohol it will be the doom of your hair. Baldness runs on both sides of my family and both my younger siblings are bald, yet I retain my hair at 48 years young! Very Happy
