Does anything actually remove scars? Bromenlain maybe?

Many things have anecdotal claims of clearing up scars- lemon juice, vitamin-e, etc., but the evidence is weak at best, and they don't seem to work for most.

Even the guy using iodine for years from that pdf that has been posted here gave up. I am starting to believe that there is nothing known to man that actually works!

What about bromelain maybe? Will it work by itself, or would I need something to repair the damaged tissue like HA?
